Radiators and underfloor heating form the delivery end of a central heating system, and getting the specification right — correct output ratings, proper system balancing, and correctly sized valves — is as important as the boiler itself. PHC Services installs and replaces radiators across London, with coverage extending into Essex and Hertfordshire, and carries out system balancing to ensure heat is distributed evenly across all rooms. In older Victorian and Edwardian properties, radiators are often undersized for the room or connected via modified pipework routes that reduce flow; we assess and correct these issues as part of the installation. In Essex and Hertfordshire, where hard water creates scale build-up on radiator surfaces and in thermostatic valve bodies, we check and clean components as part of any radiator work. Underfloor heating — both wet (hydronic) and electric systems — is available for new installations where floor construction allows, and is a popular choice for bathroom and kitchen refurbishments.
